Naruto is officially back — just maybe not in the way a lot of fans expected. Called Naruto: Ninjas Assemble, fans can return to Konohagakure, the Hidden Leaf Village, and see some fan-favorite characters too. The long-running anime/manga franchise has still been releasing content, including video games, so it's not completely a surprise to see Naruto and company returning to gaming this year.
What is perhaps surprising, however, is that Naruto: Ninjas Assemble is a new themed mode for PUBG Mobile. The game itself is no stranger to crossovers with anime and manga, with collabs including Dragon Ball, Jujutsu Kaisen, Hunter x Hunter, and more. However, this Naruto crossover looks to be one of the biggest ever. The announcement also made its way over to Reddit, where fans of both Naruto and PUBG Mobile seemingly can't agree if this is the coolest collab ever or just a waste of everyone's time.
