New Ratchet and Clank Game Officially Revealed

Ratchet and Clank hasn't received a brand-new game in several years, but the beloved PlayStation franchise is finally gearing up for its next release. While it's not the sequel many fans are still waiting for, Ratchet and Clank is looking to bring the series' signature weapons, humor, and chaotic action to a completely new audience.

Rather than retreading one of the series' existing adventures, Ratchet and Clank: Ranger Rumble is a free-to-play multiplayer hero shooter built around Captain Qwark's latest "brilliant" idea (which, naturally, goes about as well as fans would expect). Players battle inside a combat simulation designed to train the next generation of Galactic Rangers, choosing from a growing roster of heroes with unique abilities, weapons, and playstyles.

Developer Insomniac Games sheds light on a cleverly hidden Easter egg in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart more than four years after release.
