New Saber Exec Reportedly Gives Statement on Knights of the Old Republic Remake

A Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake was officially announced in 2021 at a PlayStation 5 Showcase before it subsequently fell off the face of the earth, with scant remarks and comments existing on it since then, and the latest possibly gives it a new window. As reports indicated, higher-ups were not happy with the status and progress of the game at that time, and the KOTOR Remake's development was rebooted under Saber Interactive.

Recently, Saber Interactive appointed Steve Allison as Chief Business Officer, which has caused some concern among Saber's various fanbases. Namely, Allison does not have a good track record when it comes to monetization, leading many fans to worry about how he might nickel and dime their favorite franchises. However, a supposed statement from Allison—unverified but otherwise making the rounds online—tackles that criticism while also, interestingly, naming the Knights of the Old Republic remake.
