The official Destiny 3 petition has reached a huge milestone after almost two months. After the rushed and head-scratching death of Destiny 2, fans of the Destiny IP started to wonder whether there would be another game in the series to follow. According to reports, Bungie doesn't have any other games in the works, but rather only some incubation projects. Other reports have stated multiple times in the past two months that Destiny 3 is not something that Sony seems to be open to funding, either.
Destiny 2 may have wrapped up, but it still has a decent chunk of players on Steam, and probably much more across the board on console. As of now, Destiny 2 players can solo farm a Raid and get its exclusive Raid Exotic weapon on top of regular guns, T5 armor, and even crafting patterns. New builds are put together by the day, and the game is arguably in the best state it has been in the past few years. Hopefully, there will be a Destiny 3 or some other form of sequel, especially considering the petition, but it remains to be seen.
