Stardew Valley Officially Returns July 27

Stardew Valley fans are waiting with bated breath for the official announcement of the 1.7 update, which will introduce brand-new content and further expand Pelican Town with two new marriage candidates: Clint and Sandy. Creator Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone has also teased additional social interactions, new events, and other surprises while keeping much of the update intentionally under wraps ahead of launch.

At the same time, work continues on the highly anticipated Haunted Chocolatier, Barone's next life-sim RPG, which will feature a larger world, more action-focused combat with weapons and shields, chocolate crafting, shop management, romance options, and an entirely new cast of characters, as well as "darker" themes than Stardew.

Although neither project has a release date yet, Barone recently confirmed that development remains active, with Stardew Valley and Haunted Chocolatier progressing in parallel. And if you're growing impatient waiting for update 1.7, Stardew Valley is officially making an epic return on July 27 with a brand-new release and a relatively unexpected crossover (via X).
