GTA 6 Officially Reveals Its 2026 Revenue Expectations

Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick has shared the company's financial projections for the current fiscal year, confirming expected revenue from the release of Grand Theft Auto 6. Unofficial analyses of Grand Theft Auto 6's potential earnings have varied significantly in the months leading up to the game's November 19 launch. However, they all unsurprisingly estimate revenue in the billions.

During the early days of the game's pre-orders, it was also estimated that GTA 6 generated $1 billion in just one hour, though that figure was largely based on Take-Two's stock market performance and not the actual pre-orders. Some experts now believe the upcoming AAA title could generate between $3.5 billion and $5 billion in its first week after its global launch. That said, Take-Two's official forecast points to far more modest earnings.

During the recent earnings call, Take-Two Interactive's CEO went over some possible plans with money earned from GTA 6's massive sales.
