A remaster of Star Wars: Bounty Hunter is now available for purchase. This release arrives some three months ahead of the 22nd anniversary of the classic Star Wars game.
Developed and published by LucasArts, Star Wars: Bounty Hunter is a third-person action adventure starring the infamous Mandalorian Jango Fett. It debuted on the PlayStation 2 in November 2002 before making its way to the GameCube a month later.
This stunning PlayStation title is a big inspiration for Star Wars Outlaws director Julian Gerighty while creating its open world.
Aspyr announced a Star Wars: Bounty Hunter remaster back in late June, with that re-release now reaching PC and consoles on August 1. Specifically, the game is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, and PC. While the 2002 original used to retail for $49.99, its remaster is priced at $19.99 across all platforms, thus offering decent value for money with its 10-plus hour campaign. Owners of Microsoft's consoles can currently even pick up the game at a 10% launch discount, which brings its price down to $17.99. It is currently unclear how long this Xbox-only promotion will last.
