Bloodborne PS5 Remaster And Sequel Get Long-Awaited Update

Although the future is looking somewhat bright for Bloodborne fans, with the upcoming animated series expected to encapsulate the magic and horror of the FromSoftware title, there is still a very big elephant in the room. Despite its popularity since its launch back in 2015, Bloodborne remains firmly stuck in the past. Not only is it still a PlayStation exclusive, but even its PlayStation 5 version, which is available courtesy of backwards compatibility, is yet to receive a next-gen update, leaving the RPG locked at 30FPS on both consoles.

As such, fans have been practically begging for a remaster, remake, PC port, or even a minor next-gen update for the past decade, but with Bloodborne remaining firmly in the hands of Sony Interactive Entertainment, for whatever reason, it is not giving us what we want.

In recent weeks, former PlayStation President of Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida, was asked about the lack of remaster or PC port for Bloodborne.
