Today is a huge day for GTA fans, as Grand Theft Auto 6 has finally provided a lengthy gameplay showcase via its new Netflix special footage. After only two trailers having released over the past several years, the 26 minutes of material are full of details about the story and gameplay that were previously known.
That's not the only news, however, with some other key details coming from a different source. Rockstar has also offered hands-off previews of the game to a select number of content creators, and one revealed the answer to a question that everyone has been asking.
A new video from GTA content creator TGG provides official details about the game's map size from Rockstar. According to TGG, Rockstar's co-head of development Rob Nelson established that GTA 6's map of Leonida is "twice the size of GTA 5's map" and "three times the size of Red Dead 2's map."
Vice City itself, meanwhile, is also double the size of GTA 5's central city of Los Santos. The surrounding suburbs up the ratio significantly, outpacing Los Santos and its surrounds by 11 times.
