Having just watched the Netflix showcase of Grand Theft Auto VI, it comes as no surprise that game publishers are actively avoiding its release window. Grand Theft Auto VI is the most anticipated game of the decade and avoiding November 19, 2026, is a smart move for Rockstar's competitors. GTA demands the spotlight and other games will simply be overshadowed by Jason and Lucia's adventure. One such game trying to avoid the black hole stars none other than the beloved Henry Cavill.

But, thanks to a letter from the Chairperson, we've now learned that the upcoming space adventure Squadron 42, will miss out on a Q4 release in 2026.
