Pearl Abyss has officially revealed the first DLC for Crimson Desert, confirming a release date of October 15. After its release in March, Crimson Desert's developer has been hard at work producing the new DLC, promising new adventures for Kliff, Oongka, and Damiane.
During the most recent State of Play, Pearl Abyss officially confirmed that Crimson Desert's Chartering the Unknown DLC is set to release on October 15, 2026. The almost two-minute trailer gave players a first look at what to expect in the DLC, teasing new quests, extensive underwater gameplay (including Crimson Desert protagonist Kliff riding a shark), and base-building mechanics that offer extensive customization options, far more so than exists in the game currently.
Pearl Abyss has been teasing new Crimson Desert DLC for a while, speaking openly about its plans to make even more extensive content additions to the game in the future. However, until now, it wasn't clear exactly how large the planned DLC would be, and with this trailer, it's clear that the developer has not held back with the upcoming content.
