Final Fantasy 7 Revelation finally has a release date. With its first release in 2020, the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy is more than just a straight retelling of the original, groundbreaking RPG; it's an absolute reimagining, with a new combat system, a bigger open world, additional mini-games, and, potentially, some major story changes.
Now, the trilogy is coming to a close, with the third and final part, FF7 Revelation, due out early next year. During the September 3 State of Play, Square Enix debuted a brand-new trailer for the final part of the FF7 Remake trilogy, along with an extended look at the gameplay.
That trailer has revealed a release date of April 8, 2027, for FF7 Revelation, completing the trilogy just over seven years after the release date of the original FF7 Remake.
