Two new and special Nintendo Direct presentations have been officially announced by Nintendo, and you better mark your calendar, especially if you’re a fan of The Legend of Zelda. In 2026, the iconic action-adventure series is celebrating its 40th anniversary. There have been several snippets of a celebration in the works for months now, but there was still some hope for a dedicated Zelda-themed Nintendo Direct event in September, perhaps revealing more plans for the franchise’s future.
Now, that has been officially confirmed by Nintendo, and, in fact, we’re getting two different Nintendo Direct presentations. The news was revealed by the company in a post on the official Nintendo account on X.
