Developer Pocketpair has just released another major update for Palworld, bringing the game up to its 1.0.4 version. This latest v1.0.4 Palworld update focuses primarily on balance adjustments and bug fixes, though there are a few morsels of new content in there as well.
Released on September 7, Palworld's v1.0.4 update brings some sweeping balancing changes to the game's battle system, Pals, items, base building, exploration, and even its fishing mechanics. While there are over 30 balancing changes listed in Palworld v1.0.4's patch notes on Steam, some of the most notable include an adjustment to summoned Pals and base Pals that allow them to prioritize skills that are expected to deal higher damage, an adjustment to Pal backstep behavior in battle, an adjustment that stops players and Pals from being set on fire by player-built campfires, and an adjustment of difficulty for fishing spots in Sunreach and the World Tree areas.
