A classic action platformer that was initially released on the SNES in 1993 has been confirmed to be receiving a physical re-release in 2027. It is not every day that fans of the beloved SNES get to hear about new games coming to the console. However, there has been some good news for retro gaming fans in recent months, including this new game confirmed for 2027.

Another piece of good news came when Mr. Nutz was also confirmed to be getting a re-release on both the SNES and Sega Genesis. For those unfamiliar, Mr. Nutz is a classic 2D platformer that's seen as one of the pioneers of the genre in many ways. Now, SNES users can also look forward to another re-release, this time for an even bigger and more widely recognized title.
