The official age rating for Grand Theft Auto 6 has been revealed, and it isn't likely to surprise anyone familiar with the series. Rockstar Games' flagship crime franchise is known for pushing boundaries and scandalizing parents, a tradition that the latest entry appears to be following.
For a quick recap, an ESRB rating of M for Mature has long been the series standard for Grand Theft Auto, with the original T rating for Grand Theft Auto 2 being a notable exception. Rockstar has already shown enough of GTA 6 to suggest that the rating would fall in line with previous entries, and the website has now confirmed it.
Courtesy of the official Rockstar Games website, GTA 6 will be rated M for Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Mature Humor, Nudity, Strong Language, Strong Sexual Content, and Use of Drugs and Alcohol. In short, GTA 6 will have it all, at least as far as content inappropriate for children goes.
