A 3D Steam game called Jaywalk: An Endless Arcade Hopper will become a paid title on October 13, but those who claim it before then can keep it for free permanently. Jaywalk: An Endless Arcade Hopper launched on Steam in June 2026 and is the solo developer Player 9's first game.

Gameplay-wise, Jaywalk is quite similar to some popular mobile arcade games like Crossy Road. But the developer says it's been inspired by Konami's 1981 Frogger. The primary goal is to help a character, usually an animal, cross an endless road while collecting coins and other rewards along the way. That said, Jaywalk expands on that simple formula with multiple twists, including an online PvP mode and TikTok integration.

A new Steam game is taking direct inspiration from the classic entries in Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto franchise.

Developer Player 9 has stated that Jaywalk will become a paid game on October 13 and will cost $4.99 USD. Until then, anyone who adds the game to their library can continue to play it at no additional cost.
