After begging Nintendo for the last decade, it is hard to believe that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake is just over a month away from launch. With the original title regarded by many to be one of the greatest video games of all time, and many Zelda fans considering it to be the best in the franchise, it is no wonder that this remake, that is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch 2, is highly anticipated, especially as it marks the first remake since 2011's Ocarina of Time 3D.
Launching on 5 November 2026, we are on the homestretch and, as you can imagine, fans are feeling mixed emotions. Releasing a remake of such a popular game is never an easy task, with developers having to successfully bring the game onto modern platforms whilst still keeping the magic of the original.
