PSP Game from 2010 Is Making a Comeback in 2025

The remake of the PlayStation Portable exclusive Fate/Extra has received its first trailer, which also saw Bandai Namco commit to a 2025 release window for the RPG. The promo was shared shortly following the original PSP game's 14th anniversary.

Fate/Extra is a dungeon-crawling RPG that's part of the ever-expanding Fate series. Developed by Type-Moon and Imageepoch, the game takes place in a parallel universe to that of the Fate/Stay Night visual novel. It was originally published by Marvelous Entertainment in July 2010 as a Japan-only release. An English localization of the RPG arrived in North America and Europe in November 2011 and May 2012, respectively. In 2020, Bandai Namco announced that Type-Moon Studio BB is working on a remake of the game titled Fate/Extra Record.

The PSP was home to loads of different gaming genres, and these tactical JRPGs are just some of many great games featured on Sony's portable console.
