Warner Bros. Games has issued a statement on Hogwarts Legacy 2, the highly-anticipated sequel to the 2023 open world action-RPG set in the Harry Potter universe. In the wake of Paramount acquiring Warner Bros. Discovery, it's been confirmed that Warner Bros. Games is being merged with Paramount Games Studio to create one giant gaming division. No name for this new gaming division has been announced at the time of this writing, but fans can expect it to focus on the biggest franchises under the Paramount and Warner Bros. (aka Skydance) umbrellas, which would include Harry Potter games like Hogwarts Legacy 2.
Hogwarts Legacy 2's existence was casually confirmed years ago by an executive, though no footage of the game has been revealed to date.
