Xbox has officially unveiled the Nano Controller, a pocket-sized gamepad with a compact design built for young gamers, users with smaller hands, and portable controller enthusiasts alike. The new Nano Controller for Xbox will be available in multiple countries, such as the US and Canada, starting in early November.
The controller’s reveal came amid a busy time for Microsoft’s gaming brand. On October 13, Xbox CEO Asha Sharma revealed the creation of Xbox Labs, a new gaming research and development branch. The project was launched after several fan-made recompilations and ports of popular IPs, such as Halo and Call of Duty, became playable in web browsers. The tech giant stated it would experiment and see how the techniques used for the aforementioned ports could be utilized in an official capacity in the future. This also includes the use of AI agents in game development, which remains a controversial subject within the gaming industry.
Xbox has confirmed another showcase coming very soon, promising plenty of games, exclusive reveals, and “tons of world premieres.”
