The Grand Theft Auto 6 leaker appears to be calling it quits after their crypto coin crashed. However, there is still a possibility that the GTA 6 leaker may end up spoiling the game for everyone.
Rockstar Games releases its first official response to GTA 6's massive story and gameplay leaks.
GTA 6 leaker Cyberleek made an official statement on October 14, indicating that the leaks were coming to an end. Following an initial leak in August, Cyberleek began pushing a crypto coin, with more leaks promised if the cryptocurrency reached certain thresholds. The latest claim was that they would release a playable build onto the internet if the crypto coin reached a value of $30 million, but the coin subsequently crashed. Cyberleek claims that the crypto push wasn't a "rugpull" and that the cryptocurrency was always encouraged as a method of donating to the leaker, not as an actual investment. With the game just shy of a month from its release, Cyberleek claims that they won't spoil the ending for players, unless they're "removed," presumably referring to being arrested. In such a case, they claim to have a dead man's switch that will dump the story spoiler leaks...
