The Blood of Dawnwalker has received its first major post-launch update, with version 1.1 now available across the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, as well as PC. The late October 2026 patch weighs approximately 13GB, depending on the platform, and contains more than 1,100 fixes and improvements, alongside several new features, quality-of-life additions, and higher-level changes to The Blood of Dawnwalker's combat and progression.
Rebel Wolves had been discussing the newly debuted update since September, when it teased several major The Blood of Dawnwalker changes, including an easier difficulty setting and improvements to combat and disengaging from enemies. The final release addresses everything from inventory management and equipment presets to progression-blocking bugs and nearly a dozen crash scenarios.
Many of the headline additions from The Blood of Dawnwalker's 1.1 update were outlined a week ahead of release. They include the Draught of Mind Rebirth, which lets players reallocate their Swordmastery, Witchcraft, and Vampirism abilities, as well as the ability to pet cats and dogs.
