The Legend of Zelda is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, and Nintendo is recognizing the occasion with a variety of special releases. This includes special limited-time Zelda-themed accessories for Switch 2, the aforementioned Switch 2 console, and the upcoming highly-anticipated remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake is coming to the Switch 2 on November 5. The remake rebuilds the Nintendo 64 classic for modern hardware, with vastly improved graphics, quality of life changes, gameplay upgrades, and more. When one considers the fact that the N64 Ocarina of Time is the highest-rated video game of all time, it's safe to say that hype is high for the Switch 2 remake. But while the Ocarina of Time remake is releasing for Switch 2 on November 5, the Zelda-themed Switch 2 console is actually releasing to the masses a week earlier, on October 29.
