With 2026 marking the 30th anniversary of the Persona series, Atlus has pulled back the curtain on the future of the franchise. Persona fans are getting Persona 4 Revival early next year, with Persona 6 officially announced as well. Now, another Persona remake project has seemingly leaked online, revealing what could be the first gameplay of a Persona 1 remake.
Persona 4 Revival is officially getting a late start on Nintendo Switch 2, which is massively disappointing, especially at this stage.
A video shared on Reddit showed gameplay from an apparent Persona 1 remake, allegedly titled Persona: Be Your True Mind. In this gameplay footage, the main character is seen running through the hallways of St. Hermelin High School, similar to how players traverse Tartarus in Persona 3 Reload and the TV World in Persona 4 Revival. The video also showcases a battle against shadows, including the use of skills that look like Persona 3 Reload's Theurgy. Atlus has not given an official update on whether this footage is real.
