Pokemon GO players don't need to worry about Rayquaza IVs going forward, as it's been discovered that the Legendary Pokemon's stats do not have a discernible effect on gameplay at a certain level. In Pokemon GO, players may acquire Rayquaza and its evolution, Mega Rayquaza, from limited-time Raid battles and by trading with other Pokemon Trainers.

Although players had trouble gathering Mega Energy during the rerun event, the event still gave more players the opportunity to obtain Mega Rayquaza than ever before. Fortunately, players have an easier time obtaining the base Rayquaza, and they shouldn't have to worry about the Pokemon's stats either.
