Sonic Generations is being delisted on Steam ahead of Sonic X Shadow Generations launch. This comes after Sega already removed it from the Xbox store, trying to make the original game harder to buy before the remaster's release in October.
However, unlike the Xbox delisting, the Steam release of Sonic Generations will still be available in some capacity. You won't be able to buy it separately, but the game will still be available in a bundle alongside other Sonic games.
This move is said to be in response to fan feedback, as Sega has previously come under fire for delisting older games when their rereleases and remasters launch. Of course, this isn't a perfect solution, as it means you'll have to buy an entire collection of games just to nab Generations, but it at least preserves the original release.
As per an announcement on the Steam page, Sonic Generations will be available in the Sonic the Hedgehog Legacy Bundle. This will be priced at $59.99, but as usual, the price comes down if you already own any of the games in the bundle. The games included in this will be:
