Take-Two has officially confirmed that WWE 2K25 is in development and will be releasing within Q4 Fiscal 2025, which means it should be out by the end of March 2025. While some would think that a new WWE 2K game would be a given considering the fact that it's an annual franchise, there was a time when fans had to go without a new entry in the pro wrestling game series.
As some may recall, WWE 2K20 had a disastrous launch that saw the game earn overwhelmingly negative reviews from fans and critics alike. WWE 2K20 was such a disaster that 2K canceled plans for WWE 2K21, giving the development team extra time to work on WWE 2K22. WWE 2K22 came out swinging and delivered a high-quality gaming experience that has been improved upon in WWE 2K23 and WWE 2K24. The upcoming WWE 2K25 should be another improvement, though it remains to be seen what it's bringing to the table.
