The Witcher 4 will feature Geralt of Rivia, according to one of the voice actors that has long been involved in CD Projekt Red's hit franchise. Be that as it may, the fan-favorite character may not get a lot of screen time in the upcoming The Witcher game.

CDPR originally confirmed that The Witcher 4 was in development back in early 2022. The company has so far revealed that the game, code-named Project Polaris, will be powered by Epic's Unreal Engine 5 and mark the beginning of a new The Witcher trilogy, with the implication being that Geralt will no longer be the main character.

The next Witcher title is likely to be developer CD Projekt Red's most complex work, even beyond its planned Cyberpunk 2077 sequel.

Nevertheless, the fan-favorite monster hunter will apparently return in Project Polaris.
