Uniqlo Announces New Line of Shirts Based on Anime and Gaming Music

Japanese fashion brand Uniqlo has become a go-to place for anime and game fans to get their nerdy fashion fix around the world. The affordable brand often has t-shirt collaborations with some of the biggest series in gaming and anime, and with stores around the world along with an online store, they are easy to get a hold of, too. Some of the big collaborations Uniqlo has done in the past include Pokémon, Attack on Titan, Chainsaw Man, and Final Fantasy. Even now, they have shirts from One Piece and Kaiju No. 8.

A new and exciting line was just announced this month, though, coming mid-September at least to Japan. This time, the collaboration is with a popular Japanese musical artist named Kenshi Yonezu. If that name sounds familiar, it's because he is behind the music in some very popular anime and video game titles in recent years. Because the shirts in the collection are based on popular songs that Yonezu has released, several different popular series are represented, along with a piece by the legend Hayao Miyazaki himself.
