Skyrim Players Are Sharing Their Weird Collection Habits

Want to feel old? Skyrim is almost 13 years old now. Despite its age, though, the cult classic still garners tens of thousands of players every single day. While there's plenty to keep players active across the lands of Tamriel, players like to take the role-playing element to the next level.

With thousands of different items in Skyrim, a surprisingly common mission players set themselves is to collect as many of a singular object as possible. This has now reached Reddit, with residents of the Tamriel region sharing their own collection goals.

One of the most commonly collected items in the game is books. The game reportedly has 337 different titles for players to read, totaling 316,000 words, making it a healthy collection challenge.

The beauty of books is their utility. The items can not only be read to enhance skills but also displayed, with one player sharing, "I organize them in my house by genre," adding that with every playthrough of the game, they create "a library in the houses I build."
