There's never a bad time to own a Nintendo Switch but September 12 is shaping up to be a particularly strong day for the ever-popular hybrid console. Towards the end of the third quarter, the video game industry generally begins to reawaken from its summer hibernation as studios and publishers drop their biggest projects to line up with the holiday period. 2024 is no different and while the second week of September may not be littered with AAA releases for Nintendo Switch, it does feature a substantial collection of exciting indie projects.

September 12 boasts more significant Nintendo Switch releases than any other week in the month:

That's a strong selection of games, one that features a healthy amount of variety that should keep most players happy for a while. While most of them are indie games, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP may be the most interesting given that fans of the chaotic action game have waited for over a decade to see a remastered version arrive on modern hardware.

The Nintendo Switch will finally be getting a port of one of the best PlayStation games of the generation in time for the holiday season.
