Pokemon Unite has officially revealed a new game mode that will be coming to the MOBA in the future, featuring quicker matches aimed at racking up points quickly. The MOBA from TiMi Studios and The Pokemon Company has already seen plenty of major expansions and updates to the game since its launch in 2021. Pokemon Unite boasts a staggering roster of 65 different Pokemon for players to choose from, typically releasing new Pokemon to the game every couple months. Now, the MOBA is gearing up to add its newest playable game mode.
While Pokemon Unite continues to add new Pokemon to its roster, the MOBA currently does not offer much in the way of variety for its game modes. Unite offers three game modes with Quick Battles, Standard Battles, and Ranked Battles, with all functioning similarly and changing the number of players on a team or the stakes behind the match. Though Unite does feature multiple different maps, the core gameplay typically remains the same across its different stages. Now, however, Pokemon Unite appears to be trying something new with its next game mode.
