Rumor: Classic Rockstar Game Is Making a Comeback

Bully may be making a comeback, according to some recently published regulatory filings. The newly emerged evidence suggests that Rockstar is possibly working on modernizing Bully for the latest two console generations.

Bully, known as Canis Canem Edit in Europe, is a critically acclaimed open-world action adventure made by Rockstar Vancouver. It was originally released for the PS2 in 2006 before an improved version of the game, subtitled Scholarship Edition, made its way to the Wii, Xbox 360, and PC two years later. A third rendition debuted in 2016, when Bully: Anniversary Edition launched on the iOS App Store and Google Play Store.

Fans have been clamoring for a Bully 2 for years now, but Rockstar has failed to deliver one, and at this point a remake may be better.

Yet another edition of the game may now be on the horizon, as Bully has just received multiple new age classifications in Taiwan. As first spotted by Gematsu, the Digital Game Rating Committee's database was recently updated with entries for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S versions of Bully.
