After what's felt like an eternity, Final Fantasy 16 is finally coming to PC with a confirmed release date. Launched as a PlayStation 5 exclusive, fans who don't have access to Sony's console have had to wait over a year to play through the latest installment in the beloved RPG series. Fortunately, Final Fantasy 16 is a good enough game that having to endure such a lengthy exclusivity period will quickly be forgotten when it lands on PC, especially since its release is surprisingly soon.
Per a post by Square Enix on X (formerly Twitter), Final Fantasy 16 is coming to Steam and The Epic Games Store on September 17, which is just under a month away at the time of writing.
If that's not exciting enough, fans who are desperate to get a taste of the full game can now download and play the demo which is available on both marketplaces. Those who pre-purchase the game gain access to a handful of DLC items including the Brave Blade for Clive, a Cait Sith Charm accessory, and the "Sixteen Bells" Orchestrion Roll.
