With FromSoftware and Sony refusing to even bring up Bloodborne in a conversation again, fans have taken the matter into their own hands, and are seemingly now closer than ever when it comes to porting the nearly decade-old game onto PCs.
With the help of ShadPS4, a PlayStation 4 emulator that is still in its early stages, modders were able to finally render assets within Bloodborne and make it run smoothly at 120+ FPS, which is four times more than the 30 FPS graphic lock on consoles.
While modders have made significant progress since we last saw the ongoing project, the emulation is still far from perfect and is not ready for a player to experience.
On the bright side, there seems to be no restriction to how high the FPS can go, as the tester witnessed a maximum of 331 FPS while testing the latest build of the custom Bloodborne port on PC.
