New Baldur's Gate 3 Durge Scene Finally Gives The Character The Ending They Deserve

The Dark Urge Origin character in Baldur's Gate 3 adds the most original options to a playthrough, so much so that some players have argued that developer Larian Studios always intended for the Dark Urge to be the game's main character. Those who haven't already played through the Dark Urge's storyline may want to wait for Patch 7, though, given the sheer amount of new content the evil character will receive with the September update.

In a new teaser for Patch 7 released by the developer, Larian Studios finally gave players a better look at some of the more evil endings that'll be available to them when the new patch releases, and it looks like the Dark Urge is getting a serious upgrade. The teaser, posted to Reddit by user Kazuliski, shows the default dragonborn Dark Urge taking control of Shadowheart, Lae'zel, and a hornless, non-devil Wyll atop the Netherbrain, using the tadpoles still in their brains to force them into plummeting to their demise.

Taking control of the Netherbrain (and essentially all the in-game companions) has always been an option for players in Baldur's Gate 3, but before this patch, the ending was rarely a satisfying one. Instead,...
