Fortunately, there is a way to learn what's biting without leaving Stardew Valley to look up a guide.
Posted to Reddit by user millennium-sky, the player shared that after playing Stardew Valley for a year, they've finally uncovered the Fishing Information Broadcasting Service.
The channel, which provides insight into what fish will be available throughout the day, came as a revelation to many as the comments are flooded with players who similarly had never heard of the F.I.B.S. It's actually a very useful unlock: Not only does it explain what fish are available, but it also provides information on the time they're active, where they're found, and what weather is needed to catch them.
