Borderlands 4 Announced At Gamescom Amid Movie Flop Aftermath

After acquiring the developers of Borderlands back in March, it was about time 2K Games announced a sequel for one of the most well-received video game series in the industry.

Borderlands 4, a much-awaited sequel to the last game released in 2019, was announced during the Gamescom Opening Night showcase. It will be released in 2025.

The announcement was also accompanied by a teaser trailer that may unveil the theme of the upcoming game. The nearly two-minute video does not reveal much at first but may give a glimpse at the next planet Borderlands 4 will be set on.
