EA Sports has released a new set of alter egos for UFC 5, including a UFC 303 variant of Alex Pereira, giving the already overpowered champion some increased stats with another 5-star rating. UFC 5 fans were already bracing for another overpowered Alex Pereira variant, but EA has also surprised the community by releasing a second alter ego of an MMA legend.
After EA kicked off August with a new UFC 5 update, the studio confirmed that fans can expect plenty of new alter egos and fighters to be released throughout August and September. Lightweight contender Paddy Pimblett was one of the first fighters to receive a new alter ego in August, alongside MMA legends such as Forrest Griffin, Diego Sanchez, and Rashad Evans. A UFC 304 variant of former welterweight champion Leon Edwards was also released, featuring the fighter's custom shorts emblazoned with the Jamaican and Union Jack flags.
