The NBA 2K series has seen some controversy over the past few entries, but the publisher has won back a portion of the fandom by returning the Auction House to NBA 2K25. Due to launch on September 6, NBA 2K25 is confirmed to feature the popular player-controlled Auction House after its removal from the last game drew backlash from the community.
The latest game in the series was announced back in July, and the All-Star Edition features the Boston Celtics’ Jayson Tatum and A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces on the cover. Marketing for the game didn’t get off to a good start when NBA 2K25 followers were disappointed with the lack of new features, but the return of the popular MyTeam feature may help restore the balance.
