November 29 Is Going to be a Sad Day For Animal Crossing Fans

The popular free-to-play mobile game Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp will be shutting down in late November 2024 after over seven years of service. The servers for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp are scheduled to go offline on Thanksgiving Day, after which the game will be unplayable, although players may still be able to access their campsites in the future.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp was released worldwide on November 21, 2017. Functioning similarly to other Animal Crossing games on Nintendo consoles, the game allows players to catch bugs and fish, gather fruit from trees, and perform helpful, neighborly acts for the various campers who come to stay at the campsite. Most importantly, players can collect a wide variety of items to decorate their campsites with, providing a cozy, customizable experience.

While waiting for the next mainilne series entry, fans of Nintendo's sim franchise should consider trying Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.
