Massive Entertainment's Star Wars Outlaws follows a scoundrel, Kay Vess, as she embarks on a daring adventure that takes her across the Outer Rim, dealing with some of the galaxy's most ruthless criminal organizations in a bid to earn her freedom after one of the galaxy's major crime lords, Sliro, puts a bounty on her head. To do so, Kay explores the land on her trusty speeder and takes to the skies in her starship, The Trailblazer.

Screen Rant's Rob Keyes visited Ubisoft Toronto and spoke to Star Wars: Outlaws' Narrative Director Navid Khavari about where the inspiration for the Star Wars franchise's latest ship came from, and what goes into designing a new hero ship in a series that's already full of so many iconic ones. As it turns out, the team at Massive Entertainment turned to not just the original movies for inspiration, but its classic merchandise, namely the impressive toy line of the 80s, with Khavari saying the following:
