It's undoubtedly strange that the ever-popular Sims franchise has yet to arrive on Nintendo Switch but based on a recent leak, that may be about to change. Given the series' popularity and reputation as a "cozy game" franchise, it's odd that Maxis and EA have yet to capitalize on the Switch given that Nintendo's hybrid console is often synonymous with more relaxing, less stressful experiences. Its absence may be due to technical limitations given the sheer volume of content available for The Sims 4, so if that's the case, the return of a popular spinoff series may solve the problem.
Per a ResetEra thread by --R, a listing for a Nintendo Switch MySims game appeared on the website of the popular German retailer World of Games. There's very little information about the title as the description simply reads "Build a city and unlock fun locations," alongside a supposed release date of November 19. As with all leaks, a grain of salt is recommended but it does seem strange that a decently-sized online store would specifically list such a niche product with a launch date to boot.
