Half-Life 3 Is "Real," According To Reputable Valve Insider

It's that time of the year again, when supposed information about the long-rumored Half-Life 3 begins to surface online. Only this time, however, the information is seemingly more and more credible.

In the time leading up to today, it was unearthed that a voice actress named Natasha Chandel had listed a mysterious "Project White Sands" on her resume. That project was categorized as a video game by Valve, with White Sands being a real-life place in New Mexico, similar to Black Mesa.

#ShiftingTheBar hopes to boost Blue Shift's peak player count, inviting everyone to give this underrated spin-off a go.

Then, it was pinpointed that Valve was attempting to cover its tracks by changing the internal designations of file names. For example, source code referencing the HEV suit was switched to "Burbank Suit."

Moving right along, with Valve officially acknowledging Deadlock, insider Gabe Follower released his research involving Half-Life 3. In a new video, he detailed the information that he's been compiling over the last three years, and it's compelling.
