New Evidence Points to Underrated Wii Game from 2007 Making a Comeback

Some new evidence pointing to the existence of a Nintendo Switch version of MySims has emerged online. This turn of events further strengthens the possibility of the classic Wii game making a comeback in the near future.

MySims is a Sims spin-off that was originally released for the Wii and 3DS in September 2007. Just ahead of its 14th anniversary, several retailers published listings for the Switch version of the game in late August 2024.

The MySims series used to be a Nintendo mainstay, but it seems like EA has put the series on an indefinite hold since 2010's MySims: Skyheroes.

Shortly following this MySims Switch port leak, another reference to the unannounced game was spotted on Electronic Arts' official website. The listing was unearthed by Reddit user Jvvjarj, who found it while browsing EA's Switch catalog page, where MySims can be found at the very bottom, right next to the 2018 platformer Fe. The thumbnail used for the game matches its original cover artwork from 2007.
