Xbox Game Pass Confirms Another Day-One Game For September 17

Xbox Game Pass is taking to the tracks with its next Day-One release which should keep train enthusiasts entertained for months. Following Gamescom 2024, Microsoft has been riding high on several Day-One announcements as the company looks to make the service's pricier tiers more valuable to consumers who may be unsure of the larger price stage. With big titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, and Sniper Elite: Resistance heading for Game Pass, the latest announcement will appeal to a much more niche audience.

Per Gematsu, Dovetail Games announced that Train Sim World 5, the next installment in its popular hyper-realistic simulator, will be a Day-One release on Xbox Game Pass on September 17. The version that will be available through the service is the Standard Edition which won't provide users with five days early access and the few additional trains that are included in the Deluxe Edition and Special Edition. Regardless, it's still a fantastic addition, especially since Train Sim World 4 left the platform on July 31.
