Considered one of last year's best Soulslikes, and one of 2023's best games overall, Lies of P impressed fans of the Souls genre with its brutal difficulty resembling that of FromSoftware's parry-intensive 2019 Game of the Year, Sekiro: Shadows Dies Twice, while its gloomy, gothic city of Krat reminded many of Bloodborne.
While developer Neowiz has released official artwork for Lies of P's confirmed story DLC, fans have been left waiting for any more information, as its previously rumored "late 2024" window is gradually slipping away. Fans are also awaiting any news regarding a potential sequel, as those who've beaten the game know of an exciting post-credits scene teasing another popular fairy tale character who could potentially join forces with Lies of P's Pinocchio. With Neowiz seemingly implying its intention of creating its own fairy tale Souls universe, fans are understandably excited to learn more about the Korean developer's next full game.
