Final Fantasy 14 has been struck by DDoS attacks yet again, disrupting players' experiences. This has been an unfortunately repeating event for Final Fantasy 14 fans since early summer.

Final Fantasy 14 recently saw the release of its latest major expansion, Dawntrail. While fans have been enjoying exploring everything the new expansion has to offer, it hasn't been without troubles. In addition to Final Fantasy 14 instituting some early graphical fixes for issues that cropped up after the game's visual upgrade, players have also had some troubles over the last few months as the game is peppered by DDoS attacks.

During Gamescom, Final Fantasy 14 lead Naoki Yoshida gives a brief tease of what stories may be told in Dawntrail's upcoming patch cycle.

Over the weekend, Final Fantasy 14 experienced DDos attacks yet again. Starting on Friday, the Europe, North America, and Oceania servers were hit by DDoS attacks that lasted for about two hours. During this time, players experienced difficulties logging in and may have experienced lag or disconnects once they got into the game.
