The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky is getting a remake from developer Nihon Falcom, but if you blinked during today's Nintendo Direct, you would have missed that information.

Despite the popularity of Trails (Kiseki in Japan), the remake of the series' beloved first entry Trails in the Sky only appeared in the English language version of the Nintendo Direct for 9 seconds. We see Estelle and Josuha Bright walk around, bash a couple of enemies and that's it.

Interestingly, the Japanese version of the Direct had the remake featured for a full minute, showing additional footage of the foster siblings walking around and fighting various enemies. Fans have been describing the remake as a smoother version of The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak.

The decision by Nintendo to only show a couple of seconds of footage in their English language Direct has baffled and confused fans. "It looked good, it was on screen for 5 seconds," reads the top comment of a Reddit thread made in the wake of the announcement.
